As our pets age there becomes a need for changes in the home and medications given to aid in the comfort and quality of life for your pet. When it is time to say goodbye to your elderly or terminally ill companion, our in-home end-of-life care services afford grace and serenity in their final moments, devoid of fear and anxiety.
We understand the difficulty and grief involved when dealing with the loss of a pet and we are here to offer guidance and support through the decision-making process. We will discuss any concerns you may have about your pet and help bring clarity to important upcoming decisions.
In-home euthanasia allows for the most peaceful and private experience for both you and your pet. Goodsell has wanted to be a veterinarian as far back as she can remember. After graduation in , Dr. Goodsell returned to her hometown in Metro Detroit where she practiced general medicine and shelter medicine.
Goodsell believes one of the most important ways she can honor the human-animal bond is through compassionate end-of-life care for companion pets and their families. She found that her work in mobile end-of-life care was very rewarding, and the families she helped were so grateful for the service that she began working full-time in the field. Goodsell is honored and humbled to now offer mobile services to families in the Grand Haven, MI area. Goodsell helped us by doing a phone consult to finally decide it was time to say goodbye to our sweet Aurora, aka roar Kitter aka the roar.
She sent us resources for the kids to help them through this hard time and she referred us to a local veterinarian that could do in-home euthanasia. It really was a beautiful way to say goodbye. Goodsell helped guide us through a most difficult time.
