Each business must obtain a County Registration Certificate, and undergo a facility inspection to satisfy the minimum construction requirements for the facility. An inspector is not required to contact the business for entry to the facility on official business during regular business hours.
The inspector will call to coordinate the initial facility inspection as part of the application review process. Contact your local municipality for obtaining information on massage business application processes. Each County Registration Certificate is valid for two 2 years, and must be renewed no less than 30 days before expiration. Inspections will be conducted a minimum of one 1 time per year, not including reinspections or complaint inspections.
