Looking for a plumber to do some work for me in New Haven. Need to have a pipe replaced See more…. Has anybody had, or heard of this problem? The water pipes in my basement make a constant sound, like there is water running through the pipes, even when there is no water running. When I turn off the water supply at the meter, the sound stops. I can actually feel my floor vibrating.
The man who services my furnace was puzzled by it. When the company installed the new meter, he thought I needed new water pipes. Any suggestions? See more…. Plumber needed.
