A Hesperia man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of soliciting sexually explicit photos from a teenage boy, authorities said. Brandon Gonzalez, 23, was booked on suspicion of possession of child pornography, sending harmful material to a minor and contacting a minor with intent to commit a sex crime, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and jail records.
Detectives assigned to the Hesperia Police Department learned of allegations of child sex crimes from an outside police agency in early-February, sheriff's officials said. Upon serving a search warrant Wednesday morning at the suspect's home in the block of A Avenue, deputies "recovered evidence supporting the information received from the outside agency," the statement added.
