The Department of Adult Education provides opportunities for adult students with disabilities to earn a high school diploma, GED, or workplace readiness skills. The program provides support and direction to refugees and asylees in learning to speak English and helping to eliminate those barriers to gainful employment.
Eligible students are provided workforce training leading to year-round employment. The Family Literacy Program gives parents the support they need to achieve their educational goals.
Volunteers play a key role in helping us fulfill our mission. Our volunteers are important to us and we ask your help to create a safe and meaningful volunteer experience. This program enables an adult 16 years of age or older no longer enrolled in public education to complete the required courses and state assessments to earn an Adult High School diploma.
Course requirements are in accordance with standards established by the state. Students in this program must meet all state and local requirements for graduation. Skip to Main Content. District Home.
